- 4 / 5By Robert SRay's Pier is a classic southern Maryland crab and seafood shack. Tasty crabs + cold beer = good times! Well worth a visit if you're passing through Benedict, MD. There's no restaurant sign on Benedict Ave, so just follow the Google directions. It's located right on the Patuxent River, with a great view of the river itself via the large windows in the dining room (but there is no outside dining area). Ray's also has a separate bar area next to the main dining room.June 27, 2016
